General Guidelines

• Always handle your garments delicately.
• Avoid excessive washing; spot-clean when possible.
• Turn garments inside out before washing.
• Do not tumble dry unless specifically allowed.
• Let items air dry flat, away from direct sunlight or heat.

Polyester & Elastane Blends (including jersey & stretch fabrics)

• Hand wash preferred at low temperatures (max 30°C).
• Use a mild detergent.
• Do not bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Light iron inside-out on low heat, if needed.

Bamboo & Modal Fabrics

• Hand wash or delicate machine cycle in cold to lukewarm water (max 30°C).
• Lay flat to dry to maintain shape.
• Steam to smooth out wrinkles; avoid direct iron contact.

Tweed & Wool-Based Fabrics

• Cold hand wash only – wool is a delicate fiber.
• Never wring or twist. Gently press out water with a towel.
• Reshape and dry flat on a clean surface.
• No tumble drying or direct sunlight.
• Use a steamer or cool iron with a pressing cloth if needed.

Special Attention: Hijabs with Buttons or Embellishments

• Lukewarm hand wash only (max 30°C).
• Use a gentle liquid detergent.
• Avoid rubbing or wringing near buttons.
• Lay flat to dry.
• No machine wash or spin cycle to prevent button stress.

Avoid

• Harsh detergents or fabric softeners.
• Excessive rubbing or pulling during washing.
• Dry cleaning (unless specified) for delicate items.
• Ironing directly on labels, embellishments, or knits.

Pro Tips

• Store your hijabs folded or on satin hangers to avoid creasing.
• Use garment mesh bags if machine washing delicate items.
• Refresh garments between wears with a steamer or fabric mist.
• When in doubt, treat with love—hand wash in cold water.
